Today I wish to share very interesting news I have read recently. Mayor Julian Atienza Garcia of the town La Toba, 70 miles northeast of Madrid, has banned the persons from farting, burping and slurping in public. The carter also includes strict no for adjusting underwear or picking noses and also yawning without covering mouths and speaking with mouth full. I wish we will also get a mayor elected for our city sometimes who will teach some ethics to our city folks.

Delete"who will teach some ethics to our city folks"
ReplyDeleteWhat ethics? That it is not okay to be different, or to do things that some people may object to? That you can only do those activities that others allow you to do? That we have to look to government as the sole source of what is right and wrong? That it is okay for people with guns (i.e., the government) to enforce its diktats regardless of whether or not people are harmed or have their rights infringed? That it is okay for politicians to spend OPM (other people's money) on enforcing such diktats, rather than accomplishing more significant things?
If you think that all of this is good and should be monetarily supported, then you should be free to give as much as you desire to that cause. But what about people who disagree? Why should they be forced to support this situation? Where are the ethics in that?
Sir, Mr. Micky Fernandez. my post’s not political. its very very personal post. am not supporting any cause here. am just saying my heart. i live in Lucknow. it was a beautiful city. so clean, green and full of beautiful people. we were known for our language and culture – Lakhnawi-Tehziib – if, by chnce, you’ve ever heard this word. but today, when i walk on my city roads, talk to people, i find myself in totally alien land. my Lucknow is lost and i miss it. we certainly need a mayor like Mr. Garcia.

We would never see such a ban in India, not for next few decades at least. People in India wouldn't like to behave like human being in public. I feel so fed up sometimes, not to mention talking on phone loudly and blah blah blah...
ReplyDeleteyes Mr. Patel, you are right, though we badly need one. we don’t need Anna who can curse government for corruption, but a person who can tell public to not to bribe, who can teach our children some civic sense.
Deletethank you Mr. Patel.
